Silent Auction

We are contacted dozens of times each year to participate in school auctions to help them raise money. One grown-up from Bunker Hill Nursery pulled out her glitter and made our donation extra special this year! Miss Nixie attended a celebration at her family's house in the past, so she used the photos to add color to our donation. Nixie's wings have since been upgraded to our Flower Wings, but they are still adorable!

You can peek at the school that is holding the auction here...

Fae's New Gown

After many years of upgrading my Faerie dress, I have finally reached complete satisfaction.

I first saw this gown hanging in a little store in Big Sur, Ca many years ago. It is hand made by a local seamstress with beautiful dupioni silk, elaborate silk roses, and corseting up the sides and back. I tried it on, danced around the shop, and then with sadness, put it back on the hanger and left. It has never left my mind. I happened to be traveling by the same little shop 3 years later (last week), and the dress was still there!

I had to save it from it's doom of being covered with dust. Now it can see the light of day, and meet many smiling faces along the way. Hooray!

Daisy's Last Day

Miss Daisy, our beloved North Bay Faerie, has painted her last face painting, twisted her last pink poodle, and is off to the great unknown...starting now! Her last day *sniff* here at Happily Ever Laugher ended on a very special note....her first time playing The Good Witch. She took a quick shot before she headed out of her castle to the celebration, and it was so pretty, I had to put it up here.

Good luck, Daisy, we'll miss you so much!

Here is some wonderful words that the mommy wrote about Daisy's performance that day...

"I just wanted to tell you that Miss Daisy was wonderful. All of the kids has a ball. Abby has so much fun too. She was so cute with the girls. I have attached a few pictures for you too~
Daisy has made some wonderful memories for me..that I will tell Abby about when she older...smile! I will hold onto your information~ because I am sure I will have you back.
Thank you so much"

Praise for Faerie Ember!

Hooray! Miss Ember received some lovely words in our inbox today. I just had to share them!

Dear Fae,

We just wanted to tell you that we were thrilled with Miss Ember's performance. She did an amazing job keeping about 15 rambunctious 4-5 year-olds entertained. We loved her balloon twisting, face painting and magic show. Please pass our thanks on to Miss Ember. And thank you for helping make Emma's 4th birthday a success. We will definitely be recommending your services to others.

Peek into our Painting

Miss Bunny
The Faeries are always practicing their face painting skills (it's our favorite thing!) and sending me pictures of what they are turning out like! Here are a few from Miss Faerie Meadow and Miss Bunny!
